More Happy THIRD Birthday to ME!

I took my Daddy swimming after my birthday nap. Following our swim and a DELICIOUS (Gaga-made!) dinner, we had another YUMMY birthday celebration with cupcakes and candles. What a SPECTACULAR birthday!

Happy THIRD Birthday to ME!

I woke up this morning to my Mommy, Daddy, Gaga, and Papa singing "Happy Birthday" to SWEET ME! It might have been a little overwhelming, as I immediately rolled over, closed my eyes, and pretended to go back to sleep (with a very sheepish smile on my face, of course)! Following my dramatic interpretation of a SHY CHILD, I found a special celebration downstairs. I opened presents with my assistant, Mommy, and baked cupcakes with my other assistant, Gaga. What a special day to celebrate ME!

Wednesday, September 1

My PAPA and GAGA arrived today to celebrate my THIRD birthday and "Zimbabwe-My Nutella-The Button Thing-Gingerbread Head's" birth! I am SO thankful they are here (even though they brought a Midwestern HEAT WAVE with them)!

Tuesday, August 31

I made my own BREAKFAST this morning! In fact, I created my own strawberry, banana, and vanilla yogurt parfait with a kid-friendly fruit slicer and a fun cup. I am SO big! (and/or my Mommy is a 39-weeks pregnant slacker!)

Sunday, August 29

Things (especially my Mommy!) have slowed down immensely at my house over the last couple of weeks. My Mommy and I are spending lots of time cuddling, reading, playing, and resting as we prepare for "Zimbabwe-My Nutella-The Button Thing-Gingerbread Head" (These are all of the names I have given to my BABY BROTHER thus far!) to arrive in the coming days. No matter how slow things may be around here, we're always up for a practice birthday party!

Tuesday, August 24

I took my Mommy to meet my new doctor today. I had my three-year-old well check and I did a GREAT job! The doctor told me that I am healthy and growing GREAT! In fact, I am 37 1/4 inches tall (54%) and 30 pounds, 13 ounces (50%). I've attached a photo of sweet ME in my very first hospital gown!

Monday, August 23

Thanks to my very special PAPA and GAGA, and the super-sweet birthday gift they sent me (which Gaga let me open early because she is the BEST!), I am no longer the kid with homemade fairy tale accessories. Thank goodness! With that said, I am still the kid with homemade frozen yogurt popsicles instead of "real" ice cream. I guess I can't win 'em ALL!

After I take my Mommy and Daddy out for DIM SUM, I LOVE exploring all of the fish and sea creatures in the tanks!

Saturday, August 21

I took my Mommy and Daddy to FAMILY FUN DAY in our neighborhood this afternoon. I LOVED watching "Mr. Balloon Man" make me a special heart-shaped flower for sweet ME!

Monday, August 16

It was finally WARM enough to take my Mommy to the SWIMMING POOL today. I am such a FISH! I learned how to float on my back ("All by myself, Mommy!") and make bubbles in the water today!

I took my Mommy to my favorite LIBRARY this afternoon. I've attached a photo of me pretending to be a STATUE with "Bobby" and "Gingerbread-Head!"
