Friday, September 28

Today was a very fun day! I did a great job sleeping and eating all day long. Mommy, Daddy, and Ama are very proud of me! As well, I received two very special gifts from some of our friends. The Bottaro family sent me a super cute pink and green "hippo" outfit from Gymboree for next summer/fall. The Hardy family sent me three very fun toys from Babies 'R' Us. Mommy already played with each of the toys... and then she shared them with me! I am so excited to wear my new outfit and play with my new toys!

Thursday, September 27

Today was a fairly uneventful day... that is until 7:45 p.m. At 7:45 p.m., I decided to remind my mommy and my daddy that I have very healthy and strong lungs. I had a good cry off-and-on until 10:30 p.m. Mommy and daddy decided to remind me that they love me very very very much, even when I CRY like a BABY!

Wednesday, September 26

Today has been a fairly uneventful day (just the way we love it around here!). I did a great job sleeping last night and I ate well all day long. Daddy and mommy gave me a bath tonight, which I love because I am a SPA GIRL! Also, daddy gave me a yummy bottle and my tear duct is getting much better... yeah! An uneventful and WONDERFUL day!

Hello!

My name is Katie. Today, I am officially 3 weeks and 1 day old. Since I am getting so big (8 pounds, 13 ounces and 20 1/2 inches to be exact!), I thought it was high time that I start my own "blog" (a web-log) so that I can share my daily adventures (hence the catchy "Today in the life of Katie..." title) with my very special family and friends. Everyday (or at least most days) that I post, I will keep you up-to-date on my life at home with mommy and daddy. If you want to write back to me (and/or to my mommy and daddy), feel free to do so in the "Comments" section following each post. Eventually, my mommy tells me that she and daddy will compile a scrapbook of my blog, so that I will have an awesome journal of my early days of life.
