Tuesday, October 16

I felt great today and had absolutely no tummy trouble! In fact, I was more than A Little HUNGRY today as noted by this endearing photo taken right before lunchtime. By the way, my mommy and daddy think I'm cute even when I cry:

Monday, October 15

Well, I am officially six weeks old today! Unfortunately, I decided to celebrate my birthday with a bit of tummy trouble this afternoon. In fact, after three milk-soaked loads of laundry (that included bibs, blankets, boppy covers, bouncy seats, burp cloths, carpet, my clothes, and even mommy's clothes!), my mommy called the doctor to schedule an appointment. Daddy, mommy, and I went to the doctor tonight and the news is good. I do not have a fever, I gained one pound in two weeks (for a grand total of 10 pounds, 5 ounces!), and there is nothing in my little tummy that alarmed the doctor. The doctor told my mommy and daddy that she thinks I am okay and that I have phenomenal projectile aim...YEAH! I've attached a photo from my trip to the doctor below:

My Ama is the best! I am SO glad she came to see me! She took such good care of my daddy, mommy, and me over the last four weeks. I hope she comes back to see me again really really soon. Here are the photos from my second (very sleepy!) visit to the airport this afternoon:

Well, it's official! My mommy is obsessed with taking pictures of me AND with dressing me in strange, albeit warm little outfits! Today, I am going for the sleepy "spa masseuse" look with my big yawn and white-on-white couture pictured below! I am my mommy and daddy's girl... I love sleep AND the spa!

Well, it finally turned cold where I live last night! Thus, my mommy dressed me in a very "colorful" outfit this morning! She is SO silly, as noted by the photo evidence below. Do you like my green and white striped pajamas with my pink and white heart mittens, my purple, lavender, and white heart bib, and my pink, white and green floral blanket? I am a WARM little rainbow of baby girl delight:

Wednesday, October 10

I've found my voice! Yep, that's right. According to my mommy (the Katie know-it-all), I've started using my voice for other things besides crying. In fact, I am starting to really enjoy "talking" with people when they play with me. Some of the profound things I like to say include uhhhh, urrrrr, and uuugh. What a fun baby I am!!!

Tuesday, October 9

Well, the rumors are true... I stayed up last night until 1:20 (this morning), but after I fell asleep, I slept all the way until 7:20 a.m. According to my mommy (and she's a Katie know-it-all!), that's the longest I have ever slept! What a great night. My mommy and daddy are so lucky to have a Katie like me! I've attached some "bright-eyed and bushy-tailed" (what does this phrase mean anyway?!?) photos from this morning below:

This afternoon, my mommy, Ama and I went on my first walk through the neighborhood. I got to ride in my very fun, very girly PINK stroller from Grandma Jan! What a great day!

Monday, October 8

Today was a sleepy day. I slept most of the day away, which gave me the vim, vigor, and vitality to stay up with my mommy until 1:20 a.m. on Tuesday morning! I've attached an "It's a sleepy day!" photo below:

Friday, October 5

Well, today was quite a day because I gave up sleeping! In fact, I did not sleep for more than 30 minutes at a time between noon and 9 p.m. Bravely (and/or ignorantly!), my mommy, daddy, and Ama took me to Target for shopping. I, unlike my mommy, do not like going to Target so I screamed all the way through the store. Needless to say, the Target adventure was very quick and we came home for a much needed bath, feeding and 6 1/2 hours of lovely sleep!

Happy Birthday!

Today was a big day! First, I went to the doctor for my one-month well visit. I did a great job for the doctor. She measured me at 9 pounds, 5 ounces (75%) and 22 inches long (95%)... SO BIG! She also gave me a Hep B shot, which I disliked substantially! Tonight, mommy, daddy, and Ama had a "Happy One-Month Birthday" party for me. Daddy bought me a yummy cake, Ama gave me a wonderful present, and mommy held me through the entire party (because I was sleeping, of course). I've attached photos from today below:

Well, it's Monday, October 1. That means I am 4 WEEKS OLD today... yeah! I am such a good baby, even at four weeks. In fact, I put myself to sleep twice in the last three days and I slept from midnight until 5:30 a.m. this morning! Boy, my mommy and daddy at LUCKY to have a Katie like me!
