I took MY Daddy to our second swimming lesson this morning.

During our lesson, I taught my Daddy the FREESTYLE!

Friday, September 12

The last 24 hours have been VERY busy! Yesterday in the morning, I went to GYMBOREE for the first time! At Gymboree, I played, tumbled, sang, and laughed with my Mommy and several other one-year-old toddlers. Yesterday in the afternoon, I enjoyed the SWING at our neighborhood park (unlike last May when I cried while swinging for the first time). Yesterday in the evening, I started utilizing two-word PHRASES. In fact, I said "Bye-bye, Gaga (Grandma)" and "Night-night, Dada" in context. Then, while waiting for my twelve-month immunizations this morning, I waved HI to everyone who walked into the doctor's office (I've waved bye-bye for a long time but "hi" is new). I've attached two "I'm trying to be patient, but I'm only one!" photos (I am kicking my legs rapidly while yammering non-stop in the first photo!) below:

Wednesday, September 10

After more than a month of head-turning, cup-throwing, "I would rather go hungry!" rejection of whole cow's milk and 2% cow's milk, I started drinking soy milk like a CHAMP yesterday! In fact, I've already consumed eight ounces of soy milk today and it's only lunch time. YUMMY!

Happy FIRST birthday to ME! I've attached several photos from my FUN birthday party below. For those of you who were looking forward to seeing me covered in birthday cake (LaGreer!), I REFUSED to eat my cake until my Gamma gave me a spoon. Yep, that's right...I am SO mature (one year, four days!) that I ate my birthday cake with utensils!

Friday, September 5

Today was a great day! My entourage and I went to the doctor for my twelve-month well visit. According to the doctor, I am VERY healthy and growing great! In fact, I am 30 inches long (75%) and weigh 20 pounds, 3 ounces (30%). It's official...I am SO big!
