My Mommy wants me to share TWO funny stories with you. First, I finally accepted the fact that I am having a baby BROTHER (I was convinced I was having a baby SISTER for months after the ultrasound) and I named him recently! Specifically, I named my baby brother "ZIMBABWE!" Second, I am still doing a great job with the potty training process. Recently, I started telling my Mommy when I need to urinate by loudly and joyfully proclaiming, "MOMMY, I'M PEEPING!"

I took my Mommy and Gaga to dinner with BALLOON MAN this evening! I convinced my Mommy and Gaga that I needed TWO balloons instead of ONE balloon!

Monday, May 17

I took my Mommy and Gaga to the "DORA" (Indoor) PARK this morning! As you can see from the photos below, we had an FABULOUS time!

Sunday, May 16

Today, I took my Mommy and Gaga to a FREE FLIGHT BUTTERFLY show! It was SPECTACULAR, especially when two butterflies landed on my Gaga's head!

Saturday, May 15

Ever since the toddler concert last Saturday, I have been fascinated by the PIANO! All week, every time we received a box in the mail, albeit big or small, I asked my Mommy, "Is it a PIANO?" Finally, my Mommy took the hint and got out our electric PIANO for me to play!

My Gaga is visiting me this week. I told her, "Gaga, you are MY friend!" this morning. I am now 100% positive that the two plane flights, the three-hour layover, and the ridiculous $25.00 baggage fee are ALL worth it!

I made PASTA yesterday and tried to wear it on my head! YUMMY! I found my PUMPKIN seat today and got STUCK in it!

Tuesday, May 11

My Mommy and I played with puzzles and planted sunflower seeds in an ice cream cup at the LIBRARY this morning! After lunch, I watered my sunflower seeds so we can watch them grow!

Monday, May 10

My Mommy wants me to share TWO funny Katie stories with you:

First, about once every three months, my Mommy goes BANANAS and puts on make-up. I, of course, am enamored with the entire process and want to play with her make-up desperately. Every time I ask my Mommy when I can have some make-up, she tells me that I can wear make-up "when [I] get a little taller." This morning, after I diligently climbed up the step ladder (a favorite coordination activity of mine!), I proclaimed, "Mommy, I am a little taller now. Can I have some make-up?!?"

Second, my Mommy and I watched my very first movie together yesterday! We watched CINDERELLA (a favorite topic of imagination at our house since visiting the "Magic Kingdom" last month). Every time I saw the step-mother and/or the step-sisters (I named them the mean mommies!) while watching the movie, I plugged my ears until they left the screen.

Happy Mother's Day

First, I've started calling my Mommy "MOMMA" over the last few days! Every time I say Momma, it reminds my Mommy of when I was a sweet baby learning to talk. Second, Mother's Day (or Momma's Day!) would not be complete without a trip to the PARK!
