I took my Mommy to the BABY DOCTOR today. My baby brother is growing great and is right on target size-wise! To celebrate, my Mommy and I went to a bakery dedicated to making and selling HOMEMADE CUPCAKES! Have I mentioned how much I LOVE my new SUNNY state?

Saturday, July 31

After asking 41,658 times, my Mommy and Daddy finally agreed to take me on the TRAIN in to the city today. It just so happened that there was a HUGE baseball game between two in-state teams, so we went by the stadium for FREE (my parents are SO cheap!) standing room only "seats" and a windy walk on the pier.

My Mommy and Daddy "let" me sweep the patio with Papa's BROOM tonight! Cleaning is SO FUN!

Thursday, July 29

I took my Mommy to an AMAZING park right across the street from my new playschool today. I made fabulous SAND ANGELS, enjoyed the "LAZY BABY" swing (best swing ever, by the way!), and played on the SPLASH PAD (which I snuck on to while my Mommy exchanged greetings with another mommy for approximately 2.72 seconds). I did not have a swimsuit or towel with me, so the splash pad adventure made for an brisk walk to the car!

Tuesday, July 27

My Mommy and I visited my NEW play-based cooperative preschool today. While I don't officially start attending this preschool until the fall, I really enjoyed eating snacks, playing outside, painting, and wearing several stylish (not homemade!) tiaras during my visit. The best part of attending this particular preschool is that my Mommy gets to volunteer in my class once a week!

Monday, July 26

My Mommy and I made CHOCOLATE CHIP cookies today! I, of course, had to TASTE and/or SMELL every single (safe) ingredient as we baked (please feel free to remember this little habit if/when I ever offer you a homemade cookie)!

I took my Mommy and Daddy to fly my KITE today. My Mommy had one of those "Katie is getting SO big SO fast" moments while watching me fly my KITE all by myself!

My Mommy and I found an AMAZING "Panera-ish" restaurant 1/2 mile from our house while we were exploring yesterday. Since they utilize lots of organic and natural foods, we decided to eat breakfast there this morning. I ate a YUMMY bowl of OATMEAL with a side SUNSHINE!

Thursday, July 22

Even before I ate my pancakes this morning, I painted a beautiful TERRA COTTA pot for all of the "flowers" (dandelions) that I collect on our walks!

I took my Mommy to the AVIATION MUSEUM again today! In the first photo below, I am flying a helicopter WHILE holding my "Hello Kitty" lip gloss. In the photos that follow, I am playing in the restroom on the 747 museum (SUPER "clean" and SUPER fun!).

Wednesday, July 21

My Mommy and I PAINTED and PAINTED and PAINTED today! I painted a birdhouse, which is for a "GREEN bird who will be VERY comfortable in there!" I also splatter painted (thank goodness for washable paints!) and convinced my Mommy to get messy and finger paint (which she secretly LOVES anyway!) with me.

Sunday, July 18

This morning, I took my Mommy and Daddy to a new CHURCH near our home. While my Mommy and Daddy discern whether a church is a good fit for our family by the THEOLOGY proclaimed and the COMMUNITY experienced, I discern whether a church is a good fit by the quality of their MUFFINS!

Saturday, July 17

This morning, I took my Mommy and Daddy to MY library for a PUPPET SHOW! Following the PUPPET SHOW, we had a picnic outside of the library. This evening, I baked a PIZZA (my favorite meal to make because I LOVE my Gaga's rolling pin!) for my family and we went to a new PARK (only 1/2 mile from our home)!
